This is my first trip to Natural Beauty and I was totally impressed. The shop is lovely but besides that Tammy did magic. My hair is thinning through the crown like so many of my older sisters. Tammy did magic adding extensions. My hair looks so natural. You can not see any thinning and the extensions look like my natural hair. This is definitely where I will be going from here on. Just had my microloc retie done by Tammy and I'm so impressed! She was focused and knowledgeable the entire time. The salon was clean with such a relaxing atmosphere. She completed my retie, wash, and cut in under 3 hours, my last stylist took close to 4 hours for the same service, so that efficiency without sacrificing quality really stood out. First off I just want to say when The Hubby strokes your hair thats a total YES that your hair is the BOMB!

Tammy is the sweetest soul that I have ever came in contact with. The atmosphere was amazing. It was astethically beautiful very clean and tastefully modern with a very relaxing feel !

The professionalism is top tier .

I experienced every range of emotion sitting in the seat having my microlocs with extensions reinstalled.
The conversation was so inspiring and full of belly laughing tears! Felicia is my sister from another mother. She have a deep soul that makes the environment feel like home!
Johanna was a quiet presence that radiates the atmosphere with a calm sweet disposition! She was very helpful in making sure things flowed with proficiency!
I had a really unfortunate experience with microlocs extensions but when I got up from the chair after Tammy and Felicia was done, they celebrated with me because I was so happy and pleased with the final results.

I recently had my first appointment with Tammy and had a great experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and my appointment started promptly which I really appreciated.
The service itself was very thorough and included a wash and drying. Throughout the visit she made sure I was comfortable, even offering me snacks and water.

What stood out most for me was how she took the time to answer all of my questions about the condition and health of my hair. I’ve had concerns based on past experiences with previous hair stylists but she reassured me that my locs are thriving and in great shape, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Tammy has been an absolute blessing to my microloc journey! I chose to go swimming in the Caribbean Sea knowing I had a softer texture. As you probably expect many of my babies abandoned ship and opted for loose curls instead of microlocs. Needless to say, Tammy had her work cut out for her.

Are you a Loc’d Queen or King who is looking for a place that will show your hair some good ole fashion TLC. From the moment of setting up your appointment to the arriving for your service you will get top tier treatment. I was in much need of a retwist and I called hoping and praying they would be able to help me. I spoke with the owner who was so sweet and nice she then was able to get me seen on Monday Nov 24. When I showed up to my appointment Felicia greeted me at the door, her warm personality quickly shined through it was like I was talking to someone I had knew all my life. She talked about my hair asked if I was having issues and when I expressed my concerns she quickly lept into action by looking at my locs. What I thought she was going to say she actually didn’t she put my mind at ease and even told me tips to making sure I keep my little hair nice and healthy. We laughed and talked and it made the appointment one for the books. The only negative I have is Why did I not find them sooner? :’( I am moving out of state sadly. So if you are reading this and you are like mmm should I try them….. YES!!!!! You should trust me when I tell you that your locs will love you so much. I got a retwist and when I tell you people at work was like those parts are so crisp and they knew I got my hair done. This was my first time at this natural hair salon. I have traditional locs and I needed them styled. Tammy was my loctitian. She was kind, knowledgeable, and quick. It took less than 45 minutes. She also ensured I was happy with the finished look. The salon is clean and in an enjoyable space (nice TV). I have been looking for a new microloc stylist. I found a licensed cosmetologist, which made the difference in my experience clear. No more crochet needles for me. I got the 5 star treatment today. Tammy listened to my natural hair journey. She explained various techniques to me that I had not heard about. She offers to shampoo and condition your hair with special treatments for continued hydration for my hair. (Many stylist want you to come with your hair already washed.) We discussed the various shampoos that would get the most benefit for my hair. She corrected some places in my locs that needed to be redone.

Further, I had full control over the entertainment while I was there. She had a special table to place my belongings. She offered snacks and drinks as well. She was very customer centric. Thank you Natural Beauty Loft. My experience with you has made the difference. See you next month!...more

My experience with Tammy was great.
I received a style from another hair stylist that was not fitting for my hair texture. Tammy was able to assist with fixing my hair and maintaining the health of my hair.
Tammy was professional, knowledgeable, reasonable, attentive in explaining step by step what she was doing while making sure I was comfortable with the process.
I came in feeling discouraged and left out feeling beautiful and relieved to have my hair fixed and pretty.
Tammy suite was comfortable and personal for the one on one attention that was needed.
